Shrimp and Wings is a women-owned, family-run restaurant founded by two sisters with proud Nigerian heritage and a shared passion for great food, community, and unforgettable flavours.

Our menu is inspired by the rich, vibrant flavours we grew up with, blended with comfort food favourites that bring people together. From perfectly seasoned wings and juicy shrimp to homemade sauces and flavour-packed sides, every dish is created with love, personality, and a taste of home.

We’re also proud to serve breakfast favourites with our own twist — including our signature shrimp and grits, made with bold seasoning and soulful flavour that keeps customers coming back for more.

Based in South London, Shrimp and Wings was built on the belief that food should feel exciting, comforting, and memorable. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a late-night craving, we want every visit to feel welcoming and satisfying.

This restaurant has truly been a labour of love for us. Our journey started back in 2024 when we first got the lease, full of excitement and big dreams. What we didn’t realise was just how long and challenging the road ahead would be. From delays and setbacks to long battles securing extraction and obtaining our licence, opening our doors became a much bigger journey than we ever expected.

As a small independent business with no financial backing, every step has taken resilience, sacrifice, patience, and faith. There were moments where giving up would have been easier, but our passion for food, culture, and creating something meaningful for our community kept us going.

Now, finally opening in 2026 means more to us than we can put into words.

Every customer who walks through our doors is supporting not just a restaurant, but two sisters, a dream, and years of hard work behind the scenes. We genuinely hope the community will continue to support and grow with us as we begin this exciting new chapter.
